The Southern Steak & Oyster

In the July 20 issue of The Week, the South received attention in the Food & Drink section again. Critics discuss a few of the most popular restaurants that make Nashville a culinary star. Chef Tandy Wilson?s City House, which is usually filled with Nashville?s politicians, artists, chefs, and musicians,?is known for being local?s favorite restaurant. The Catbird Seat has recently received tons of attention from food critics due to?Chefs Erick Anderson and Josh Habiger?s attention to detail. Last but not least, Critics examine? The Southern Steak & Oyster. They see that dining in Nashville also has a less showy side. Chef Matt Farley, from New York, ?is known for preparing dishes shaped largely by traditions of the South and using local ingredients as much as possible.
